THE COVEN

It pains me when I see and feel women not having the courage, the energy, the presence, or the community needed in order to fully express their gifts in the world.

It pains me when I see women stuck in imposter syndrome to the extent they won’t share or express, they spend years “crafting” something, but they are just terrified to be out there in the public, and think they are not qualified.

I also am pained to hear women getting bogged down by comparison:

”But I don’t have a following like so and so,  so why even write a book or start a project?”  

And I’m like:  “Let’s call in the community and audience that need your work! It doesn’t need to be huge.  And this is not an excuse not to do your soul’s work.”

Or there are the women that invest tons of time and money into projects, and creative work, and their branding and website… but no time is invested into creating community around their work, and so they birth something without the arms of loved ones and community to catch it and celebrate it and opt in.

I also see super-talented business women whose heart and uncurated truth I cannot feel in their public work, which pains me, as it’s all well designed, but the heart and soul honesty is lacking.

OR

I see women who are open-hearted and raw and have talent, but lack follow-through and courage and support to take the risks necessary in leaping into love, writing a book, speaking the truth, or starting a business.

I also see a problem in many women choosing the go-getter bad bitch way of creating and sharing and receiving (heat heat go go do do).

OR

I see women playing small, quiet, waiting passively, and not having the fire needed to take leaps.  

One way is following the old paradigm around how we make dreams come true: chasing them, pushing for them, and fighting for them… which when done too much can lead to burn out, and abandoning the deep feeling, the resting, and the heart and body’s cycles.

Or just looking at the crazy world and going:  “You want me to share my secrets and my wild and tender heart in that violent cancel culture agro arena?!  I think I’ll just stay in bed with Netflix, thanks, bye.”

But here is the thing:

WHEN WE SHIFT TO SEEING OUR SOUL’S WORK TO BEING A DEVOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL PRACTICE, AND NOT JUST “WORK,” THEN WE SHIFT FROM BURNING OUT, OR TAKING IT ALL SO PERSONALLY AND CAN HAVE SUSTAINABLE LONGEVITY, STAMINA, AND CREATIVE RESILIENCE THAT ONLY GETS JUICIER OVER TIME.

This is where I come in.

I will serve as the sacred creative doula and priestess of heart and soul’s expression in this program.

For twenty years, my spiritual sacred feminine practice has been sharing, expressing, creating, leading and writing publicly.

I have gotten praise, awards, death threats, rejection letters, and so much more - yet I am still here, not hardened, with my heart in the game.

I have been published as an author.  I have stood on stage as a writer hearing my work read in front of an audience at Lincoln Center. I have had a movie premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.  I have had my work seen by millions.  Some of this journey I did with a partially closed heart, no community, no rituals or practices.  Some of this work burned me out.  

And then I found a way to make it all my life’s practice and ongoing ritual of magic.

I actually get enlivened and turned on now by even the rejections and risk taking… they don’t take from me anymore, they give me energy.

My self-worth no longer hangs on them.  (And this is key!)  From here I have led retreat rooms full of women, and led workshops on TV shows, and live a life of creation and service.

I have found the more “me” I can include in my work, the less exhausting it is to create and share.  The more honest also, the more gratifying. 

Many women think they need to look neat and tidy and “perfectly branded” in order to be a public person or create magnetic work.

I see women spending hours and hours on marketing… but not nearly as many hours in PRACTICING or REVELLING IN what they are sharing or selling.

If you are selling a coaching program, don’t you want to be DEEPLY immersed, hours-every-day, in the ideas and modalities you are selling?

That creates magnetism.

Mastery.

Prowess.

The marketing does not.  It can help of course.  It is necessary, but unless you are selling yourself as a marketer, why are you worried all day about marketing?

But I see a problem where so many women focus on the marketing and professional photos, but their writing or message lacks soul nudity or PASSION, and open heart, and grounded rooted presence. 

The legacy you leave is how you make people feel, what you stir, what you awaken… this is the expression of the feminine soul in all its wild holy bloody glory.

If you focus on THAT vs. how much and how many, I guarantee you will lead a much happier life.

It is needed at this time on the planet to have folks focused on sharing their truth outside the machine - uncurated - no gnarly parts left out.
